I never had the pleasure to meet Tom in person or speak to him on the phone—I only got to know him through my computer keys. For the past six years I have talked with him in the chats on Angelique’s website. 

Many times, after my evening shift at work, I would come home, open up a cold beer and look forward to finding him in the chat. Tom had a very witty sense of humour, a positive attitude, and shared many interesting stories of his life. 

Tom was a class act. He was a good friend to me and I am very thankful he was like a guardian angel to his very good friend Angelique. I’ll miss him very much. Close

I can't remember who this was said of, but to this day the quote stays with me.  It has even more significance when talking about Tom.

Tom never hid from anyone, never had any regrets, and was matter-of-fact about everything.  Even when his health was failing, he carried such a quiet dignity about him that one could not help but admire him as a person. 

He may not have been famous in the grand scheme of things, but he was certainly legendary in our small online community, and the void he created will not be filled easily or quickly.

I for one, am a better man for having known him.  You will be missed, sir.
